Lots of musicians defy categorization, but few carry the crossover banner as well as pianist and public-radio host Christopher O’Riley, who teams up with cellist Matt Haimovitz for a Civic Music Association concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Drake’s Sheslow Auditorium. Their “Shuffle.Play.Listen” program skips from Bach to Arcade Fire, with plenty in between.
