Maine Public is a media sponsor of the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s presentation of Mahler’s First, featuring conductor Bruce Hangen and cellist Matt Haimovitz, on Tuesday evening, October 16 at Portland’s Merrill Auditorium. In addition to Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, Titan, the program will also include Bloch’s Schelomo.
